Thin
client Technology allows use of terminals instead of PCs in a network
without losing any
of the PCs functionality. This is achived by running application
on a CITRIX Server and only transmitting screen and keyboard information
over the LAN to the Thin Client node. Thin Client node can either
be earlier generation and obsolete PCs or special Thin client Terminals.
Thin
client technology also allow Web delivery of non web based software
applications by transmmiting the screens for view and action on
a Browser such as IE & Netscape.
