USA : The customer interface
In the US, our team comprises of Domain Knowledge Specialists located
onsite at customer location, who report to head quarters in Cincinnati,
Ohio. They are the front facing team to assist the users in implementing
the software and determining the specific parameterization required
to adapt the software for their specific needs and research studies.
We have a strong relationship with and presence within Cincinnati
Children's Hospital and Medical Research Center (CCHMC), and a substantial
number of applications are used within the hospital. Other hospitals
in the region are now participating in the benefits that have been
derived by CCHMC.
The technical team in USA undertakes all customer facing activities
such as Analysis, Design, Testing, Training, Deployment and Post
Implementation Support.
India : The offshore development center
Itcube Inc., uses fully owned facilities in India for the actual
development. This model has been in use since inception and is now
emerging as a business model of choice all over the world.
A qualified technical team, working in an international caliber
environment, develops software as per the designs generated on site.
The communication and development processes have been established
and time tested to perfection.
Our development centers in India are located in Pune and Bangalore.
Though Bangalore is the well known "India's Silicon
Valley", Pune is a large and well established software
center with substantial activity in the Bio Tech arena.
Internet Connectivity and Computing Infrastructure
Our in house data communication infrastructure includes multiple
servers and fixed communication lines to the Internet. This is efficiently
fire-walled and tested by external agencies to ensure it's robustness.
The e-mail infrastructure and web collaboration runs on a Linux
server and is fully protected from virus attacks by a virus gateway
firewall.
The leased line to the Internet is via India's leading ISPs and
is controlled by Cisco Routers. In the DMZ we have our IP-Phone,
Terminal Server and Web Server infrastructure.
Our Event Tracking Software is hosted in USA and
tracks change requests and other events related to the software
development process.
We run Unix, Linux and Windows servers for staging, testing and
source control. Programmers are equipped with the latest IDE for
software development activities.
